AI Engineer 12 Month Contract to Hire Fully Remote - Must be US Based (ideally based in CT)NO C2C - Only US Citizen or GC Holder Working for a SaaS AI Voice Agent Brand at Series C Funded.Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer contract role is a remote position focused on designing, developing, and optimizing AI models and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and training neural networks, implementing pattern recognition algorithms, and applying natural language processing techniques to real-world use cases. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, write clean and efficient code, and integrate AI components into existing software architectures. Additional tasks include evaluating model performance, conducting experiments, documenting technical approaches, and ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.Essential RequirementsHands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including model training, text processing, and deployment of NLP solutions.Experience with AI/ML pipelines, data preprocessing, and model evaluation using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying AI services.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in applied AI within SaaS or related domains is beneficial but not required.
