All benefits contingent on working a scheduled 40hrs a week.Scope: Customer Service Specialists provide service coordination and support to consumers accessing services. Engage with individuals seeking services, obtain necessary information for enrollment, and connect them with intake staff to complete assessment. Daily support of clients with scheduling needs, phone support and working with clinical team to support clients' needs. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.Responsibilities Greet clients, which includes checking in for appointments, managing payments with appropriate documentation, and managing the lobby areas to include maintaining cleanliness.Manage centralized scheduling for clinicians and interns. This includes inputting schedules, managing schedules to provide maximum efficiency for clinicians, creating and maintaining same day appointment slots, and completing scheduling reminder calls.Managing a medical scheduling model to provide clients appointments and support with Medical Providers.Complete all administrative functions of enrollment that, at minimum, include - verifying financial eligibility, collecting demographic information, administering clinical screenings when necessary, and completing vital signs when needing to support during registration. Manage a multi-line phone system, which includes answering the phone promptly and assisting consumers with questions.Verify demographic and insurance information for consumers that are checking in for appointments. Update this information in the agency database by end-of-business day.Keep the lobby areas organized and clean at all times.Keep the treatment rooms and break rooms wiped down and organized at open and close of the day.Start the coffee machine at the beginning of each day.Ensure clients are seen within 24 hours of the request for services and, ideally, the same day.Coordinate work with internal customers. Interact with agency staff, consumers, and community.Assist in orienting new clinical program staff to the front office processes.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications Qualifications:One year of experience working in a medical office or similar setting that includes experience with centralized scheduling and a multi-line phone system.Strong computer skills that include internet navigation, Office 365, computer-based phone system, and database entry.Physical Requirements:Must have the ability to:Sit for the majority of the 8-hour workday, up to 3 hours consecutivelyFrequently use fingers/hands for work that requires dexterityUse upper extremities for frequent lifting of objects up to 10 poundsMust have the ability for:Frequent stooping and bendingTouching as it relates to feeling objects by touching with the skin, particularly that of fingertipsHearing as it relates to normal conversation, high frequency and low frequency hearing soundsSeeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, color vision and peripheral visionComprehensive Life Resources is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
