Human Resources Information System Consultant

We have a publicly traded Biotech Company in Redwood City, CA seeking an HRIS Analyst with Workday experience to support and improve our HR systems. This role focuses on maintaining the system, solving issues, and helping implement enhancements that support business needs. You will work closely with HR and other teams to ensure the system runs efficiently and meets organizational goals.Please no C2C, 1099 or Contracting companies!NO Agencies!Highlights:MUST be able to be onsite at least 1-2 days a month (preferred 1 day a week but flexible for the right candidate)Pay is MAX at $50-$65/hrMUST have recent Workday experienceStarts ASAPMUST have Workday HRIS/HCM experience (LMS and Training system is preferred)6+ month contract roleKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain and support the Workday system, including updates, configurations, and troubleshootingGenerate reports and ensure data accuracy and system complianceIdentify opportunities to improve processes and automate tasksAssist with Workday projects such as new features, integrations, and system upgradesManage employee data processes (onboarding, compensation, talent records)Monitor system security and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX)Document processes and provide ongoing system supportRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience working with Workday HRISStrong understanding of HR processes and systemsExperience with Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Talent, Security)Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive data with confidentialityAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related fieldExperience in biotech or pharmaceutical industryGeneral HR experience (2+ years)Experience supporting a global workforceExperience with Workday reporting
