Full Time - Medical Billing Specialist Northeast Internal Medicine is a fast-paced Internal Medicine Office looking for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. Office locations in Kendallville and Lagrange, Indiana. Responsibilities: · Work claim issues and report to the supervisor · Review and correct denied insurance claims · Help patients with billing questions or concerns · Follow up in aging of insurance claims and self-pay accounts · Maintain knowledge of new billing practices and procedures Requirements: · Medical Billing experience required, with knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT. · Ability to Multitask through many responsibilities in a day. · The individual must have good phone and people skills. · Computer and internet skills are required. · Knowledge of Epic is helpful but not a must. · Medical Coding experience required Wage negotiable depending on experience Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kendallville, IN 46755
