Team members work in a collaborative, fast-paced shop environment where precision, professionalism, and reliability are essential.About the RoleThe DOT Driver/Materials Handler supports the Shipping Department by coordinating the movement, preparation, and delivery of finished millwork. This role ensures all products are wrapped, labeled, loaded, and delivered safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesDelivery of product merchandise Maintaining accurate shipping recordsOperating forklifts (training provided)Building cratesPerforming general shop and equipment maintenance Required QualificationsValid driver’s license with excellent driving recordCurrent DOT medical certification5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or related logistics rolesAbility to lift, push, and move heavy materials; comfortable standing on concrete for 8+ hoursAbility to operate a forklift (training provided)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle multiple tasks, follow schedules, and work under pressureReliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendanceManual dexterity and proficiency with basic hand toolsAbility to work 6AM–4PM with schedule flexibility and overtime as neededStrong interpersonal, communication, and listening skillsSafety-conscious with the ability to identify and report hazards immediately Preferred QualificationsExperience preparing millwork or similar materials for shipmentExperience building crates or custom shipping vesselsKnowledge of best shipping methods across different product typesPrior experience coordinating trucking schedules with project teamsFamiliarity with bills of lading and shipping documentationSelf-motivated, energetic, and cooperative team player If you have a passion for quality, a commitment to excellence and the ability to work in a fast-paced state-of-the-art environment then this is the job for you.Our benefits include, health insurance (80% company paid), dental (80% company paid), vision, LTD (100% company paid) a weekly employer 401k contribution, 12 paid holidays, PTO, and adiscretionary bonus.
