The beginning of a new career opportunity!!Adecco Staffing is assisting our client, a local cosmetic manufacture recruiting for Quality Control Inspectors at their Rockland County location.POSITION PURPOSE (RESPONSIBILITY)The Quality Control Inspector is a position responsible for product inspection and in process testing as specified by established standards, guidelines, and protocols.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESUse SAP and computer to retrieve and read technical specifications.Perform hourly inspection, test, and measure materials or products being produced while in process in 2 or more areas/departments.Measure product using standards comparison and other Quality Control equipment.Report inspection results and test data completely, accurately, and timely.Report problems to QC and Operations Supervisors/Managers.Approve or hold lots after inspection depending on AQL results.Monitor and confirm production operations conform to specifications or customers' requirements.Ensure and document Line Clearance.Ensure and verify Critical Process Parameter Line Set Up.Determine sampling plan based on AQL, specifications, etc.Collection & processing of various samples (micro, retain, customer, etc.).Working familiarity with cGMPs and GDP – raise violations to supervisor level.Initiate and support Defective Material Reporting.Organize standards and ensure standards are available for reference.Adheres to and familiarity with all safety guidelines and practices – raise violations to supervisor level.Assists Supervisor in mentoring Junior QC Inspectors.QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:HS Diploma or equivalent preferredRequired Knowledge:Basic arithmeticBasic computer skills (knowledge of SAP is desirable)MS word and ExcelAbility to verbally communicate, read and write EnglishExperience Required (Minimum):1-2 years relevant experience as QC inspectorSkills/Abilities:Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsProblem Solver – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skilfully and develop alternative solutions.Attentive to details,Proactive with an ability to learn and improveTeam Player, good interpersonal skills and communicatorAbility to work independentlyWhat's in this for you?• Opportunity to become a permanent employee with the company.• Daily or Weekly pay• A manufacturing environment with casual dress standards, friendly and safe work environment.Competitive benefit options, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)• Bonus incentives for referrals• Access to thousands of free upskilling courses via Adecco's Aspire Academy.To be considered for this amazing Production Opportunity job with our client in Rockland County NY, apply today!You'll be able to schedule an interview after you submit your application.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
