Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Chemical Operator located in Parkersburg, WV. The Chemical Operator will be responsible for tasks related to chemical handling, operating processing equipment, monitoring distillation processes, and maintaining safety standards. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control checks and adhering to operational protocols to ensure production efficiency and product reliability. Qualifications Experience in Chemical Handling and a strong understanding of safety regulations in a chemical manufacturing environmentKnowledge of the Chemical Industry and chemical processing equipment operationsProficiency in Chemical Processing, including an understanding of chemical reactions and material handlingExperience with Distillation processes and associated equipmentFamiliarity with Quality Control procedures to ensure product consistency and adherence to standardsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocolsA high school diploma or equivalent; further technical education or certifications in chemical processing are a plusPhysical ability to perform tasks including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in varying conditionsPrior experience in the specialty chemicals industry is an advantage
