Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces. Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly maintained. Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety guidelines. Follow all infection prevention and safety policies diligently. Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department objectives. Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Previous experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous. Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred. 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended. Work Schedule: Evening shift, full-time (40 hours per week).
