Sr Project ManagerLocation: Pierre, SDDuration: Long-termJob Duties:Plan, initiate, and manage projects by leading and guiding the work of the staff.Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stageMonitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projectsManage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scopeConfer with project personnel to identify and resolve problemsManage projects from planning and development to closingPerform smooth operation of all day-to-day activities of the project.Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffingUse a process-based approach to achieve project goalsAct as the primary lead with the customer and subcontractor partners.Monitor resource allocationMonitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedbackPrepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Participate in corporate strategic planning activities.Requirements:6+ years of experience in project management10+ years of IT experienceGood communication skillsPMP certification will be plus.
