So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.As a Welder I, you will be responsible for laying out, fitting, tacking, and welding steel components and assemblies in accordance with blueprint specifications. Using a range of power tools and welding equipment, you'll ensure precision, structural integrity, and a clean finish free of undercuts and weld spatter. Your work must meet strict dimensional and aesthetic standards, contributing directly to product quality and organizational success.This position is located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.As a part of the team, you will:Interpret blueprints and follow instructions to execute weld proceduresOperate mig and/or tig welders, stick welding, grinders, plasma cutters, drill presses, and other toolsFamiliar with welding carbon and aluminium steelAssemble and weld parts with precision using clamps, bolts, and tack weldsPlan layouts and welding sequences for structural integrity and safetyInspect and correct welds to meet quality standardsUse measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerancesPerform routine maintenance and complete preventive checklistsSupport material handling, loading/unloading, and workstation supplyAssist team leaders and train others as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area throughout shiftCrosstrain across departments to expand skillsetAbility to use and operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electricAll employees are expected to prioritize safety, regardless of role.
