Working hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Analysts, this role leads complex client engagements - from discovery and solution design through tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical proposals. The Solution Engineer engages deeply with energy and commodities clients to understand trading, risk, and valuation challenges, responds to RFPs with precision, and shapes solution architectures that align with real-world use cases across power and gas markets. With strong grounding in computational finance and energy risk management, this role also feeds market insight back into product strategy, helping refine cQuant.io’s platform and strengthen its position in the energy analytics landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and tailor cQuant.io’s solutions to meet their specific needs.Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the features, benefits, and unique advantages of our energy risk analytics solutions.Develop and deliver customized technical presentations, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations tailored to client objectives and use cases. Client EngagementEngage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, risk management needs, and technical requirements.Provide detailed and accurate technical responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), and other client inquiries.Collaborate with clients to identify and articulate their needs, ensuring that our solutions meet or exceed their expectations. Solution Design And StrategyWork with product management and analyst teams to refine solution strategies based on client feedback and market trends.Develop detailed technical proposals, including solution architecture, integration plans, and implementation strategies.Offer input on product enhancements and new features based on client interactions and feedback. Market And Product KnowledgeStay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape in energy risk analytics.Continuously enhance technical knowledge of cQuant.io’s products and services, as well as the broader energy risk management ecosystem.Share insights and best practices with the sales team to improve overall sales effectiveness and client engagement. Collaboration And CommunicationAct as a liaison between the sales team, clients, and internal technical teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the sales strategy.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create sales collateral, case studies, and other materials that support the sales process.Contribute to the development and refinement of presales processes, tools, and methodologies. Required QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economic, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications is a plus.Finance-oriented profile with strong knowledge in computational finance, statistics and time series analysis, option pricing, and stochastic simulation-based analysis.Expertise in commodities and energy markets, with a background in at least one of the following: Trading / Front Office, Risk Management / Middle Office, or Energy Contract Evaluation, Procurement, and Management.Solid understanding of how software works from a statistical and analytical perspective, with the ability to interpret and apply quantitative models.Hands-on experience in energy risk management and analytics.Strong ability to explain complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders, adapting language for client-facing discussions.Proven track record of collaborating with sales teams to understand client requirements and tailor effective technical solutions.Preferred Experience (in Order Of Desirability)Good knowledge of wholesale Power & Gas markets within the US and Europe.Experience in other commodities markets (fuels, metals, agriculture, etc.).Exposure to financial markets and products (e.g., banking, derivatives, or capital markets).Additional RequirementsProven experience in a technical presales or solution engineering role, ideally within the energy, commodities, or risk analytics sectors.Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience in customer-facing activities such as workshops, demos, and technical discussions.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-changing market environment.Why Zema Global?Be part of a rapidly growing company shaping how data drives decisions in energy and commodities.Work with cutting-edge technology alongside industry experts.Significant opportunity to impact strategy, revenue growth, and decision-making.Join a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and autonomy to drive meaningful change.How To ApplyPlease submit your PDF CV highlighting your relevant experience (English CVs only).
