An established community hospital in the Bronx, NY is currently seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician to join their growing team. About the Opportunity: Setting: Ambulatory clinic Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+) Responsibilities: The Primary Care Physician will: Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health Educate patients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications Conduct regular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans as needed Treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and infections Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice in the State of New York Board Eligible / Certified Experience in an Outpatient role/setting
