Job Duties and Responsibilities
Our Integrated Security team focuses on designing, installing, and maintaining complex security solutions for EchoStar. As a Security Installation Technician , you will be responsible for reviewing, understanding, and implementing installations according to plans provided by our Project Managers.
A typical day could see you working on a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, patching server software, operating a man-lift to install a camera, installing a badge reader, or providing service coordination for a remote facility.
Key Responsibilities
Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, IP cameras, and intrusion alarm systems
Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers and completing and filing all project documentation
Travel is required on an as-needed basis, typically 10-15% but can fluctuate
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
Progressive experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low-voltage industry is required
Previous experience leading installations at the site level is preferred
Programming experience preferred
Vendor certification in low-voltage systems preferred (e.g., AMAG, Axis, Milestone, Bosch)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean record
Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is preferred

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $27.00/Hour - $38.70/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
