If this sounds like you, then we want you on our team. Position Summary The ASICS Creation Center, LLC is ASICS Corporation’s product creation office based in Boston, MA. This is a newly formed organization (May 1, 2024) that is focused on taking innovation and product creation to new heights. The team sits across all areas of the product creation process, supporting the following areas: Innovation, Performance Running, Sportstyle, and Core Performance Sports. We are looking for a new teammate to join us as an office coordinator. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to get their career up and running (pun intended!) in the sporting goods industry. The Office Coordinator will be responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to ensure daily operations for the ASICS Creation Center run smoothly. This person will regularly support the CEO, Director of HR, and all product divisions. This is a hybrid position based in downtown Boston, MA. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Interacts with all levels throughout the organization including employees and outside vendors. Duties and Responsibilities Assist CEO and HR to improve office and procedure efficencies. Organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Partner with HR to plan and facilitate in-house or off site activities. Coordinate all office shipping, receiving, mail within office as needed. Liaise with Boston office facility management including cleaning, maintenance, security, etc. Assist with business travel, processing expense reports and payment of invoices. Performs other duties as assigned or needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Responds professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and staff, including proper telephone etiquette. Able to maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Possesses a strong customer service focus. Understands and follows oral and written instructions. Communicates clearly and concisely. Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. High level of energy and enthusiasm and results oriented. Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and management. Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations. Adheres to local, state, and federal laws. Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department. Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary. CORE COMPETENCIES: Customer Focus Innovation & Creativity Collaboration & Mutual Respect Leadership Results Driven Education/Experience Minimum of 2-3 years administrative/office experience required. Associates Degree in business/related field or combination of experience and training. Previous office/facilites experience a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or other customers. Manual dexterity required. Must be able to lift boxes weighing around 50lbs, with regularity. Some days will require all physical activity, moving boxes and equipment, to support setup of key meetings.
