Build integration Engineer

Job Title: Build integration Engineer Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 9+ Month Contract Pay Range - $60/hr to $65/hr Open to relocation applicants as long as they can relocate on their own expenses. Overview: Seeking a Senior Build & Integration Engineer to support software build, integration, and debugging across multiple platforms. The role involves developing automation tools, resolving build/integration issues, and collaborating with global engineering teams and customers. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain build and integration tools using PythonSupport software integration, debugging, and build environments across Linux, Android, Yocto, and RTOS (QNX) platformsManage CI/CD automation, build optimization, and release processesWork with Git/Gerrit, configuration management tools, and debugging tools (e.g., Trace32)Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to resolve system integration issues Required Skills:5+ years experience developing tools with PythonExperience with Linux Bash, Makefiles, BitBake, and C/C++Experience with Yocto Linux, Android, RTOS (ARM-based platforms)Experience with Git/Gerrit, build environments, and debugging toolsStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyEducation: Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with relevant software engineering experience.
