In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with our sales team to influence Albertsons through strategic category management, shopper behavior analysis, and compelling data-driven storytelling. You’ll leverage macro trends, proprietary research, and industry insights to shape category strategies that win with both the retailer and the shopper. If you're passionate about turning data into action and making a measurable impact, this is your opportunity to shine.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides category & retailer specific solutions and recommendations based on key learnings and insights generated through analysis and research from a broad range of sourcesCompletes retailer category reviews utilizing category analysis, shopper insights and analytic toolsCompletes category analyses on assortment, retail pricing, and trade promotionsAnalyzes data from sources such as syndicated scan and panel data, loyalty card data, retailer point-of-sale data, and space planning softwareSupports and guides Albertsons in their go-to-market strategies that incorporate shopper insights and market trendsWorks with the internal Shopper Insights & Center of Excellence teams, Category Managers, and Albertsons Category Managers to develop category learning plansSupports and provides recommendations to the Sales Team on the category landscape and how that affects SCJ products and positionTurns category and shopper insights into actionable recommendations via storytellingUtilizes category and aisle expertise to provide shelf merchandising and item placementRequired Experience You’ll BringQualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employmentBachelor’s Degree and 5+ years relevant experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years relevant experiencePreferred Experiences And SkillsFull knowledge and understanding of the category management processAbility to develop fact-based business plans and to provide strategic inputAbility to develop, deliver and execute an objective fact-based presentation through storytellingSkilled in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Complete understanding of syndicated scan and panel dataComplete understanding and familiarity of retailer point of sale dataCapability to discover new tools and learn quickly how to use them with customersExcellent interpersonal and communication skills required for building internal and external relationships and working on a high-performance teamStrong presentation skillsAbility to bring a story out of large amounts of data that is impactful to the retailerProactive and committed to delivering results in a fast paced, demanding work environment by fostering a sense of urgency, energy, ownership, and a curiosity to search for opportunitiesJob RequirementsFull-time remote, field-based role in Boise, IDTravel up to 25%, mostly internal sales meetingsMay require relocation for future opportunitiesThis role is not eligible for relocation assistanceBenefits And PerksSC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
