Lead/coordinate new model event support and report on new model readiness through trial stages and mass production. Key Accountabilities Lead New Model Trials:Create training strategy for new model change points.Identify and document trial problems and discuss countermeasures.Communicate initial issues from build events within the department as well as outside of the department.Inform team members and other departments of project change points.Support quality problems and recommend countermeasures before mass production.Coordinate with the Project Execution team of any design updates that are needed.New Model Start-Up and Mass Production:Ensure project remains on schedule.Respond immediately to complex issues during production.Utilize necessary tools to understand root causes and implement containment.Create problem summary and reflect on mass production issues.Inspect product and new model development (e.g., check tolerances, fixtures, parts, etc.)Update and track items; create problem summary and reflect on mass production issues.Conduct mass production audits for problem prevention.Conduct testing/sampling for quality verification.Ensure all system readiness is completed within the department. Report on overall readiness to the plant.
