Nursing Supervisor (Resource Coordinator) - Inpatient Nursing (per diem)

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0An experienced Registered Nurse, who in addition to providing direct patient care as needed is accountable for facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, patient flow, staffing, resource utilization, and problem solving on a given shift. The Nursing Supervisor functions under the direction of the Sr. Director in collaboration with the Nurse Managers to create an environment conducive to maintaining established standards of practice. S/he functions within policies, practice guidelines and nursing standards of SMH in accordance with the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act, CDC and OSHA standards, and any other applicable regulatory or accreditation agency.Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of Clinical Nursing experience preferredMinimum of 2 years of Nursing Leadership experience preferredExcellent quality of Nursing Care as part of a comprehensive care teamPreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/ExperienceMust meet all criteria associated with responsibilities detailed in this document and the core/unit specific competencies for registered nurses.
