We specialize in providing high-volume contingent staffing, direct hire staffing and project based solutions to companies worldwide ranging from startups to Fortune 500 and Managed Service Providers (MSP) across a wide variety of industries.Job Description:This position is with the PE Battery Team and they re looking for an Seibi Technician to " Support Our Client s Production Engineering [PE] Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering [VME] Battery Pack Assembly group s equipment.Ideal candidate should have 3+ technical experience of being/worked as a Seibi Technician with the required skills.Top 3 skillsPLC programming for Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron or SiemensSelf-motivated individualFlexible to work with different teams, travel and overtimeLocation: TMMK, Georgetown, KY; 100% on-site and the candidates should be localDuration: 12 months (possible extension)Working hours: Either 7 AM to 4 PM OR 8 AM to 5 PM local time.Travel : At most 50% during peak times; Candidates should be available to travel immediately, the travel will be domestically in US, to Canada, Mexico and possibly to Japan. Candidates will be travelling at least for a week to 2 weeks OR at most month.Overtime : 25%; Candidates should be willing to work little extra during weekdays and should be comfortable to work over weekends as per the project needs.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: Candidates should have their own Steel Toe Shoes and Safety Glasses once they start working on this position, rest will be provided by Our Client.What you ll be doing:Support Our Client s Production Engineering [PE] Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering [VME] Battery Pack Assembly group s equipment development with NAMCs & Global teamsSupport equipment specification development to confirm standards complianceSupport equipment machine risk assessment development and confirmation activitiesComplete Seibi equipment checks for Safety, Electrical & Mechanical design confirmationsConfirm equipment, conveyor & logistics hardware for individual cell & zone safety interlocksSupport Seibi equipment confirmations at vendor buy-off trials & larger zone trialsSupport equipment adjustment to ensure Safety, Quality & Productivity target achievementEngage in travel to vendors & NAMCs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico & Japan.What you will bring:2 Year associate s degree in technical field, completion of a trade school, or 3+ Years relevant technical experience2 Years Experience with PLC programming for Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron or SiemensAbility to read mechanical/electrical drawings.Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).Ability & willingness to work up to 25% overtime, possibly including 12-hours shifts with likelihood of significant weekend & holiday workAbility & willingness to travel up to 50% at peak times, both domestically & internationally.Requirements: What you may bring:Experience with manufacturing equipment procurement, installation and confirmationExperience with Kawasaki or Fanuc Industrial Robots for Part Transfer or Auto-TighteningExperience with Keyence or other Vision System setup and/or integrationExperience with AMRs &/or AGVs and AGV Traffic Control systems.At KAYGEN, we are always looking for dynamic, talented and experienced individuals.
