Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Reports to: ORP DirectorPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: Lynnwood, WA Job Type: PRN Pay: $32.85- $39.27 per hour (DOE)Position OverviewProvide daily physical therapy treatment and component assessments to clients at Convivio Health under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). Client care involves addressing physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.Duties and ResponsibilitiesClient CareAssist PT in implementing treatment programs and progressionGuide clients through program orientation and provide ongoing educationModify client programs as directed by the PTMonitor clients and clinic environment to ensure safetyCollaborate with PT on exercise program changes and progressionReview client progress and challenges daily with PTAdminister evaluation components after achieving documented competenceDistribute and collect customer service surveysParticipate in weekly client care conferences, staff meetings, and CARF program responsibilities (e.g., Health and Safety, Annual Planning)Written DocumentationComplete daily notes for each treatment session, including corresponding charges, by the end of the dayAssist with assigned evaluation sectionsContribute to quality assurance (QA) efforts for documentation and programsTrack professional competencies (e.g., ROM, MMT, modality use) established with PTComplete additional documentation as assignedQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programCurrent, unrestricted Washington State PTA license (free of disciplinary action)Current CPR certificationPreferred: 1+ year experience in a rehabilitation settingProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general Windows applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage sensitive cases with flexibility, diplomacy, and confidentialitySafe and effective operation of exercise and treatment modality equipmentWorking ConditionsIndoor outpatient setting, climate-controlled, minimal hazard potentialFrequent standing, walking, and assisting clients with stabilizationBenefits401(k) with company matchingPaid time offMedical SpecialtiesPhysical & Rehabilitation MedicineSchedule8-hour day shiftsMonday to FridayNo weekendsAbout UsConvivio Health has proudly served Washington State since 2007.
