SPARTANBURG, SC Order: 8508Order Type : Direct HireThe General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business or department, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and strategic alignment with company goals. The GM leads and coordinates various functions including operations, sales, finance, human resources, and customer service to drive growth and performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability.Lead and mentor department managers and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.Monitor performance metrics and KPIs; implement improvements where necessary.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new markets and services.Address operational issues and resolve problems quickly and effectively.Report directly to senior executives or the board on performance and strategic initiatives.Qualifications:Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role.Strong understanding of business functions such as operations, HR, finance, marketing, and customer service.Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in business software (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems).Preferred Skills:Familiarity with change management and scaling business operations.Ability to manage multiple departments or locations.ABOUT US
