Software Engineer (Embedded Linux)

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE. Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Software Engineer (Embedded Linux)Leverage your expertise developing and supporting embedded Linux Board Support Package (BSP) and driver development.Qualifications You Must Have:• Bachelor’s degree (Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR• An active U.S. government issued Final Secret Security Clearance is required• A minimum of 3 years professional experience with embedded Linux device drivers• Proficiency with embedded C/C++• Experience with scripting languages (Bash and Python)• Experience with board bring-up and target hardware integration• Experience with debugging and root cause investigations using hardware schematics and tools such as logic analyzer and WiresharkQualifications We Prefer:• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment• Experience with GIT and SVN version control systems• Experience packaging custom Linux distribution with Buildroot• Development experience Agile methodologies and DevSecOps
