This position is expected to work between 2-4 shifts per week, depending business needs.Primary Responsibilities:Pastry productionGeneral knife handlingPastry platingKitchen cleanliness/sanitationOrganization skillsRequirements/Experience Desired:At least 1 year experience, preferably more, in pastry production in high-end/fine dining.Basic knowledge of molecular gastronomyCake making & decoratingPetit fours/MignardisesGluten-freeIce cream/sorbetBread makingAbility to effectively communicate with kitchen and front of house team in loud environmentMust be available any day of the week, including nights, weekends & some holidaysMust maintain regular, predictable and reliable attendancePhysical requirements include, but are not limited to:Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of timeContinuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twistingPhysical ability to frequently lift 20-30 lbs, and occasionally up to 50lbs;Physical ability to squat, kneel, and climb
