Logistics Inventory Control Supervisor (3rd Shift)
Assist distribution center supervisors, union employees, store associates, and main office associates. Frequent independent judgments are essential. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.ResponsibilitiesModel Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer serviceAccept handbills from stores and buyersCompile shipping to stores scheduleMaintain all files on the Warehouse Inventory Network system that pertain to aisle ranges and picking informationRespond to concerns from buyers and stores, research and return resultsProcess reports on overs and shorts from storesSlot all merchandiseConduct research on store order cutsConduct all inventoriesCorrect receiving problemsPerform new store setupMaintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekendsAdminister distribution center section of vendor non complianceSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationQualificationsMinimumHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus two years' experience in warehouse distribution; or combination of relevant education and experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentLift truck certification/licenseValid driver's licenseAbility to continue education, as necessaryAbility to work within set time frames and fixed deadlinesFamiliarity with retail distribution technical terms and processesAbility to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projectsAbility to operate all warehouse equipmentExperience directing and participating on project teamsSecond languageAbility to operate forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker and lansing aisle rangerProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and MAGICJ-18808-Ljbffr
