As a Sr. Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our Oak Street Health patients, providers and business by overseeing Oak Street's internal Quality program as well as coordinate communication and alignment to support accurate payer quality performance on Stars.The ideal candidate has management experience (managing, leading a team), is a self-starter, and has experience building relationships with external partners and stakeholders. This will be a high-visibility role requiring significant partnership with external payers, cross-team collaboration within Population Health and other corporate teams (e.g., Managed Care Operations, Product, Patient Experience etc.), partnership with clinical and operational field leaders, and regular communication with senior leadership. The Sr. Manager will report to the Senior Director, Population Health and will also manage a team for support with analyses and reporting.Core ResponsibilitiesThe Sr. Manager, Population Health will be responsible for gaining insights from payer Stars performance and external conversations to drive internal operations related to QualityCoordinate Oak Street Stars efforts across Part C, D and Patient Experience to represent in Payer Quality meetings and to Oak Street Senior LeadershipCollaborate with Senior Associate to create infrastructure and reporting for real-time Stars reporting and projections; develop/maintain outgoing data feeds to payers Oversee the strategy and coordination for Payer Quality Meetings in collaboration with the Managed Care Operations TeamLead the Stars Committee to provide an overview of current status of performance on Stars to Oak Street senior leadership team Manage Oak Street Quality Program to ensure alignment with CMS Stars ProgramWorks with regional leaders to drive program performance and strategyResponsible for on-going program management including Product enhancements for all programs, introduction/retirement of program measures and executing on events and trainings for staffOn-boards new Centers and Providers into programming as Oak Street continues to grow to 150+ CentersCross-functional partnerships with Payers, Managed Care Operations Team, Quality Team, Product, Population Health Directors, Regional Vice Presidents and Oak Street Senior LeadersOther duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking For4+ years of consulting or other applicable experience in healthcare / population healthAnalytical and data savvy; highly proficient with Microsoft ExcelRelationship management experienceFamiliarity with Managed Care payers and the CMS Stars program is a plusRelationship management experienceExperience with managing direct reports, teams Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagementStrong written communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPointPassion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work productQuick learner comfortable with a high level of ambiguityAbility to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of informationStrong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverablesCollaborative working style, able to work cross functionallyFamiliarity with Managed Care payers and the CMS Stars program is a plus Bachelor degree requiredUS work authorizationSomeone who embodies being “Oaky”What does being “Oaky” look like?Radiating positive energyAssuming good intentionsCreating an unmatched patient experienceDriving clinical excellenceTaking ownership and delivering resultsBeing relentlessly determinedWhy Oak Street Health?Oak Street Health is on a mission to “Rebuild healthcare as it should be'', providing personalized primary care for older adults on Medicare, with the goal of keeping patients healthy and living life to the fullest. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
