If you are a motivated professional looking for a long-term fit where you can grow in a role, and will be valued and empowered, then we invite you to apply to our Billing Coordinator position in our White Plains, NY Office.This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.Key Responsibilities:Supporting all billing operations of the firmUtilization of accounting and payables software programs to perform duties and responsibilitiesEnsuring that all tasks and duties completed are done within the firm's set guidelines and policiesAccurately and timely completing assignmentsCommunicating with claims examiners and clients regarding billing inquiriesResearching and responding to inquiries from attorneys and support staffDisplaying a positive, high-energy attitude within our team environmentReviewing and editing pre-bills in response to attorney and support staff requestsExecuting complex bills (i.e., multiple discounts, split-party billing, preparation of electronic bills)Creating, printing and verifying the accuracy of invoices prepared for clientsReviewing and verifying the accuracy of supporting documentation as requiredAssisting with obtaining information required for e-billing and liaising with e-billing coordinatorsReviewing and analyzing rejected invoices and assisting with their resolutionRecording and tracking of retainer funds as directed by attorneyProcessing write-offs per Firm policyAssistance with the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly reportsAssisting with year-end closing and reporting as requiredAssisting with special projects on various issues as neededQualificationsAderant experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving and productivity skillsExcellent time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlinesAbility to function well in a high-paced environment with shifting prioritiesAbility to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of bookkeeping procedures (posting, balancing, debits/credits and journal entries)Proficiency in basic accounting principles and the ability to perform mathematical functionsKnowledge of iManage document management software a plus, but not mandatoryKnowledge of e-billing middleware sites is a plus, but not mandatoryKnowledge of AS400 system is a plus, but not mandatoryCollege graduate with internship/work experienceSalary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 USDA variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
