Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYUnder minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients ranging in age from ne competencies following established standards and practices. Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursingPREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors DegreeMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: NonePREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training courseREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or currently eligible for state board certification.PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certifiedPost Anesthesia-CPAN Board eligible/certifiedGI Lab SGNA Board eligible/certifiedREQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):BLS - required for all areas-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training NetworkACLS required for all areas in Surgery Services and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unitPALS- required for Post Anesthesia and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit#LI-GF2Join our dedicated healthcare team where compassion meets innovation!
