Shipping and Receiving SpecialistQuality Bus and Truck Parts16174 149th St SE, Big Lake, MN 55309Full-Time, 40 Hours Per WeekRole Summary:The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for managing and ensuring the successful picking, packing, and shipping of products to customers. They are also responsible for receipt of all vehicle teardown parts, pulled parts, and returns (to included cores) This position requires high attention to detail to ensure that orders are prepared correctly for delivery.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the order fulfillment process to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping.Track and manage shipments, providing updates on delivery status to the sales team and customers when necessary.Troubleshoot and resolve any shipping issues or delays.Maintain accurate records of shipped products and inventory levels.Ensure proper packaging materials are used to prevent damage during transport.Assist in inventory audits and ensure shipping discrepancies are reported and resolved.Record and update inventory systems to reflect the received products.Receive and restock returns, cores, and damaged goods and process accordingly.Clean parts and prep for inventory receiving.Organize and store received products in designated areas according to inventory management procedures.Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.Work closely with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse teams to ensure that inventory is accurately received and recorded.Assist shop in cleaning and identifying pulled parts from vehicle teardowns and part pulls.Assist Sales in identifying and finding parts to pull from teardown buses with pictures and descriptionsPerform duties as directed by the operations manager to include but not limited to the lot, grass, snow, salt, and groundsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Forklift certification preferred.Previous warehouse experience in shipping or logistics role.Knowledge of shipping software and tracking systems.Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights.
