Specialist, Visual Merchandising
Summary
The Specialist, Visual Merchandising oversees the coordination and maintenance of visual merchandising standards within the boutique, including window installs, fixture and mannequin setup, and VM photo documentation. This in-store role supports boutique management and the Visual Lead to ensure displays reflect merchandising guidelines and collection launches. The Specialist works independently on projects and must maintain boutique presentation during hours and events.
Responsibilities
Communicate and implement VM direction, animations, and guidelines to Image Ambassadors and boutique management
Coordinate movement, storage, and staging of display elements with the Visual Merchandise Manager
Ensure windows and selling floors are merchandised regularly and consistent with VM standards between floor sets and launches
Take and maintain photographic records of floor and window sets for submission to the Global Image Team and update Dropbox
Work collaboratively with Boutique Management to support merchandise initiatives and boutique business needs
Manage projects with minimal supervision and deliver timely results during events and peak activity
Requirements
Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable Art/Fashion related course of study
Minimum of 2 years in a similar VM position, preferably with a luxury brand
Comprehensive knowledge of fashion styling, merchandising, and visual display
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital photography using phone applications
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to move and handle display items, including lifting/pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs
Flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and some holidays
