Personal Injury Paralegal: Boca Raton, FLOur client is looking for a Personal Injury Paralegal with 5+ years of plaintiff-side experience.ResponsibilitiesTrack statute of limitations, manage deadlines, discovery deadlines, and court-ordered dates as provided in Scheduling OrdersMaintain complete and well-organized electronic and physical case filesMonitor medical treatment progression and ensure cases are medically mature before resolutionUnderstand and manage liens.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, and correspondence with minimal attorney oversightPrepare complaints, motions, subpoenas, deposition notices, and settlement-related filingsAssist with trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness lists, (some medical summaries), medical index, and trial bindersHandle e-filing in state courts. Federal court is a bonus. Manage incoming discovery and organize medical records, bills, and wage loss documentationPrepare initial discovery responses and objectionsManage attorney's calendar, including court appearances, deadlines, and hearingsSchedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and expert conferencesCoordinate with opposing counsel, court staff, court reporters, medical providers, and experts.QualificationsParalegal with plaintiff-side personal injury experienceBachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate (preferred)
