Our nurses play an essential role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment for our residents while working collaboratively with our healthcare team. *Details* * *Position:* Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) * *Shift:* Day Shift * *Hours:* 6:00 AM–6:00 PM * *RN Pay:* $36.00–$38.00 per hour, based on experience * *LPN Pay:* $32.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience * *Location:* Eldorado, IL *Duties and Responsibilities* * Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and facility policies. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and within the scope of nursing practice. * Monitor, assess, and document residents' conditions, reporting any significant changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. * Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure quality resident care. * Assist in developing, implementing, and updating individualized resident care plans. * Maintain accurate and timely medical records and nursing documentation. * Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as appropriate. * Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and medical concerns. * Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a safe environment. * Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. * Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed. * Ensure continuity of care through effective communication during shift changes. * Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in resident conditions. * Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies. * Promote a positive, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents and coworkers. * Perform additional nursing duties as assigned by nursing leadership. *Qualifications* * *Must possess a current, active RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois.* * Graduate of an accredited nursing program. * Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting is preferred. * Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. * Must demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to resident-centered care. * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. * Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations. * Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of nursing care. * *Must be available to work the 6:00 AM–6:00 PM day shift.* *Join Our Team!* At *Eldorado Rehabilitation and Healthcare*, we believe that exceptional resident care begins with exceptional employees.
