Accounts Payable SpecialistSalary: $55,000-$62,500/year We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications. Key Responsibilities: Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently as an Accounts Payable SpecialistMatch invoices with purchase orders and receiptsEnsure proper coding and approval of invoices in accordance with company policiesPrepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfersReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerCommunicate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiriesMaintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable recordsAssist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reportingSupport audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar positionStrong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principlesProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Preferred Skills: Experience working as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a high-volume environmentFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Summary: This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Accounts Payable Specialist looking to grow within a collaborative and supportive team.
