Senior Software Engineer – React / TypeScript / JavaScriptSanta Monica, CA or New York, NYHybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 day remoteWe’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team building high-traffic, consumer-facing web experiences across a large streaming and digital ecosystem.This team owns experiences around subscriptions, upgrades, payments, account verification, entitlements, and customer messaging across Web, iOS, Android, Roku, gaming consoles, and Smart TV platforms.What You’ll Be Doing:• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications• Develop consumer-facing subscription, commerce, and account experiences• Partner closely with engineering, product, and design teams• Integrate front-end applications with APIs and backend services• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions• Review code and maintain strong engineering standards• Mentor and support other developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing• Help deliver consistent experiences across a large device ecosystemWhat We’re Looking For:• 5+ years of software engineering experience• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience• Strong modern web development background• Experience building highly scalable, production-level web applications• Experience integrating with APIs and service teams• Strong understanding of web standards and accessibility• Experience working within larger engineering teams• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsBig Plus:• React• Node.js• iOS or Android experience• Roku development experience• Experience with streaming, media, subscription, commerce, or other large-scale consumer-facing productsThis is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys building polished consumer experiences used across multiple platforms and devices.
