Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (weekends as needed)Position SummaryThe Safety Coordinator / Manager serves as a coach, leader, and subject-matter expert in construction safety. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting training, and promoting a proactive culture of safety across all job sites.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform job-site safety audits and inspectionsEnsure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirementsTrain employees on job-specific and industry safety standardsMaintain OSHA logs and perform all required OSHA recordkeepingInvestigate incidents, compile reports, and recommend corrective actionsServe as a resource for all safety-related concernsAssist with job-site safety planning and pre-task planningParticipate in safety planning and coordination meetingsAnalyze safety data to identify trends and prevent future incidentsKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesStrong leadership and people-management skillsSolid knowledge of construction safety and health regulations (OSHA)Ability to identify current and future safety risks and recommend corrective actionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to collaborate effectively with field and office teamsRequired QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industryPreferred CertificationsCertified Safety Professional (CSP)Associate Safety Professional (ASP)Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST)OSHA 500 TrainerBenefitsCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchingLife insuranceEqual Opportunity EmployerDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
