Nurse Practitioner

Job Description Position Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing patient-centered care in a combined Family Practice and Urgent Care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, as well as acute care for urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespanProvide urgent care services, including minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and wound carePerform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medicationsDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized care plansEducate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment optionsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomesMaintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standardsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing educationQualifications:Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited programCurrent Nurse Practitioner license and certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC)Valid state RN and APRN licensureBLS and ACLS certifications preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in family practice and/or urgent care preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamWork Schedule:Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededRotating shifts between family practice and urgent careCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, etc.)Opportunities for professional development and growthHow to Apply:Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to Admin@QwikCareMD.com
