Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer

Overview In this role you will lead the MAS architecture and technical implementation to deliver secure, scalable, high-performing MAS environments for NASA Enterprise operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure reliable platform performance and adherence to integration standards. The position combines hands-on engineering with architectural direction and automation to enable mission-critical MAS deployments. ResponsibilitiesLead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshootingDesign Enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA systemsLead secure API management, authentication standards, and monitoring strategiesDevelop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSONConfigure and support Maximo Mobile including SSO implementationsManage MAS configurations via MAF and create configurations in MASOversee user synchronization with Microsoft Entra IDPerform data modeling to support BI reportingUtilize Jira Service Management for issue tracking Key requirements8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experienceAdvanced IBM Maximo architecture, MIF, and REST API integrationsHands-on MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patchingExperience with BIRT reporting and Microsoft Power BIStrong Linux scripting, system operations, and performance managementKnowledge of OpenShift container platform and MAS deploymentsExperience with Maximo Mobile, SSO, and MAF configurationPython, XML, JavaScript, and JSON automation scriptingFamiliarity with secure API management and authentication frameworksExcellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional teamsExperience with Jira Service Management or similar toolsstrong communicationcross-functional collaborationleadership and guidanceIBM Maximo architectureMaximo Integration Framework (MIF)REST API integrations
