Our team is committed to providing comfort, dignity, and meaningful support to residents and their families during life's most important moments.Position OverviewThe Hospice Aide (CNA) is a valued member of the interdisciplinary hospice team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. In this role, you will provide hands-on personal care, support patient comfort, and help create a peaceful, respectful environment for individuals at the end of life. This position is ideal for a CNA who is compassionate, dependable, and comfortable providing care in a hospice setting.What You'll DoDirect Patient Care:Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral care, toileting, dressing, and skin careAssist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercisesSupport with feeding and hydration, including meal preparation as neededPromote a clean, safe, and comfortable living environmentClinical Support & Observation:Take and document vital signs as directedObserve patient condition and report changes promptly to the RN Case ManagerMonitor skin integrity and help prevent breakdownAccurately document care in accordance with agency standardsFamily & Emotional Support:Communicate with empathy, professionalism, and respectSupport family members and caregivers, including providing short-term respiteMaintain patient dignity and confidentiality at all timesTeamwork & Compliance:Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of careFollow all hospice regulations, policies, and scope-of-practice guidelinesParticipate in ongoing quality and performance improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking ForActive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in MinnesotaCurrent CPR certificationPrevious hospice, home health, or senior care experience preferredStrong understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life careCompassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyValid driver's license with reliable transportationWhy Join Suite Living Hospice Care?Meaningful, purpose-driven work supporting patients and familiesSupportive and collaborative hospice team environmentConsistent full-time scheduleWork within Suite Living communities (no private home visits)Opportunity to build deep connections with residents and families
