Required Applicants must be attending a post-secondary, accredited college or university and be in good academic standing. (Unofficial transcript must be attached to application packet) Applicants must have good computer skills. Applicants must have good customer service skills; good public speaking skills, and must be comfortable with speaking to small-to-large groups. Applicants must be able to communicate well orally and in writing. Preferred Possess one-year experience working with high school students navigating through a structured program; experience working with students of under-represented population. Applicants should have experience in working with diverse groups and populations. Work cooperatively and effectively with fellow peers, staff, and administrators while maintaining a professional relationship with any and all students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Applicants should be self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, responsible, detail-oriented, dependable and able to multitask as well as. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
