Cost Accountant

The Cost Accountant is a critical member within Industrial Controlling, providing daily and monthly reports and analyzing production orders, purchase prices, capital investments, and inventory variances. These activities are instrumental in maintaining proper controls and supporting decision-making at All-Clad. Ideally, candidates will have a mid-to-long-term desire to hold an industrial controlling role.
Essential Functions
SAP Management: Manage the addition of new products into SAP, ensuring proper standard cost calculations and integration with GPS.
Dashboard Updates: Update the plant dashboard daily with labor variances, plant activity, quality, material variances, and expenses indicators.
Order Analysis: Conduct daily analysis of production orders to guarantee accurate transaction flow in SAP.
Investment Control: Oversee capital investment projects, ensuring the approval process correctness and monthly reporting of expenditures and commitments.
Inventory Coordination: Coordinate annual physical inventory and fixed asset audits, interfacing with external auditors.
Scrap Sales: Manage the scrap sales bidding process and vendor interactions.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation and reporting of plant activity, production order variances, scrap sales, and material ledger, interfacing with Shared Services.
Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during hard close and year-end audits.
Costing Support: Support the Industrial Controller and plant management in costing calculations and implementing internal controls.
Budget Leadership: Lead Budget Production Plan Valuation gate process, serving as main interface with Engineering and Purchasing teams.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in Accounting, Costing, or Controlling
Responsible, organized, with leadership and communication capabilities needed to effectively work across departments and identify/propose improvement opportunities
Strong proficiency in Excel and essential SAP experience
Physical Requirements
Occasional stooping, reaching, repetitive motions, fine motor skills, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
