Rendering Superintendent Division/Department: PorkLocation: MarshalltownReports to: Joe MachType of position: Full-timeShift: 1stHours: Flexible as neededGeneral Description: Supervise, evaluate and direct personnel in performing operations according to sound operating principles and company policies and procedures. Stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of rendering employees and ensure proper training of employees. Anticipate and determine causes of delays in operations and take appropriate actions to meet schedules. Apply Company employee relations policies in all dealings with employees. Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production. Arrange to have appropriate records prepared and maintained (i.e., payroll, vacations, orders, weights). Arrange for trucks and railroad cars to be filled with appropriate product when scheduled and complete necessary paperwork.
