Truck/Automotive Technician

*Overview*We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automotive electrical systems, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with ADAS, schematics, and automotive diagnostics are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment focused on delivering exceptional automotive service and customer satisfaction.*Responsibilities*Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and equipmentConduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel enginesExecute alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performanceUtilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issuesRepair or replace vehicle components such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systemsMaintain detailed service records and document all work performed accuratelyAssist with vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid replacements, and routine inspectionsUse hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools effectivelyEnsure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specificationsProvide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly*Skills*Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repairExpertise in automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, schematics reading, and diagnosticsMechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance proceduresProficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating softwareAbility to perform wheel alignments and vehicle inspections accuratelyStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematicsExcellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and servicesKnowledge of automotive service standards and safety protocols is essentialJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
