Chief Operating Officer

About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Chief Operating Officer to lead the day-to-day operations of our established consumer electronics enterprise. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for translating strategic vision into operational excellence — driving efficiency, scaling our global supply chain, and ensuring every function of the business works in cohesive alignment.This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment and has a proven track record of running large-scale operations in the consumer electronics or adjacent industries.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & ExecutionOversee end-to-end business operations including supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment.Drive operational efficiency across all departments and ensure alignment with company-wide KPIs.Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data to identify bottlenecks and optimize processes.Strategy & LeadershipPartner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute long-term strategic goals.Translate high-level strategy into executable operational roadmaps with clear accountability.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of senior leaders across multiple functions.Supply Chain & Product OperationsManage relationships with global manufacturing partners, vendors, and suppliers.Ensure product quality, cost targets, and delivery timelines are consistently met.Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and go-to-market execution for new products.Financial OversightCollaborate with the CFO to manage operational budgets and drive cost optimization.Monitor and report on operational performance metrics to the board and executive team.Identify and implement strategies to improve gross margins and operational scalability.Cross-Functional CollaborationServe as the connective tissue between product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer experience.Champion a culture of operational discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.Represent the company with key partners, customers, and industry stakeholders as needed.QualificationsRequired15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a COO, VP of Operations, or equivalent C-suite role.Deep experience in consumer electronics, hardware, or a closely related manufacturing-intensive industry.Proven ability to scale operations globally across diverse markets and supply chains.Strong financial acumen with experience managing large operational budgets.Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated success building and developing senior teams.Data-driven mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under ambiguity.Amenable to work onsite.PreferredExperience in both product and services businesses within the consumer electronics space.Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar operational frameworks.Track record of successfully launching products in competitive global markets.MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
