You will collaborate with project teams of varying sizes and compositions, which may include project managers, data engineers, and report developers.In this role, you will interact directly with clients to analyze and document requirements, contribute to the design of data and analytical solutions, and support the successful delivery of project outcomes. You will primarily work with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Fabric, Dynamics 365, and Power BI.In your day-to-day you will be responsible forAnalyze data processes to understand, document, and revise those processesAnalyze, clean, and study data to achieve specific project outcomesLead discovery, requirements gathering, and analysis sessions with clients to understand data needsTranslate client data requirements into actions that support the development of data solutionsWork within project teams, typically consisting of 3–5 people, to deliver client data projectsEstablish patterns and best practices for data analysis, transformation, cleansing, and requirements translationIdentify and support data governance policies and procedures to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availabilityStay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to data management and analytics capabilitiesWhat you must haveStrong verbal and written communication skills tying together technology and architecture to achieve business outcomesAt least 2 years of consulting experience in a data analyst roleAt least 5 years of experience in data and analytics or closely related fieldsAt least 2 years of experience working with SQLUnderstanding of data management and data visualization practicesKnowledge of ETL/ELT tools and concepts such as data mappings, transformations, and pipeline orchestrationProficiency with data modeling and data analysis toolsBasic knowledge of data architecture concepts including storage, engineering, modeling, performance, and governanceStrong problem solving and time management skillsWhat would be nice for you to haveExperience with the Microsoft SQL technology stack including SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRSExperience with Microsoft Azure data platforms such as Power BI, Fabric, Synapse, and Data FactoryExperience working in Azure DevOps with Boards, Repos, and PipelinesExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its dataExperience performing Quality Assurance activities for data applications and reportingWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
