Marketing Media Specialist – Kendall Hunt Publishing Higher EducationWe are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Media Specialist to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas and assistance to help achieve our goals. The Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for creating, designing, and producing various multimedia content to support internal and external marketing efforts, including developing and executing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, creating multimedia content, and analyzing campaign performance to drive brand awareness and engagement.Typical Work WeekCollaborate with the Higher Ed marketing team to concept, design, and execute creative campaigns across multiple disciplines.Develop and produce engaging, platform-specific content for social media (including graphics, captions, and short-form video).Own the visual identity and consistency of social media channels, ensuring brand alignment across all content.Plan, create, and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) to support campaign goals and increase engagement.Design a wide range of marketing materials, including sales collateral, catalogs, advertisements, email graphics, and digital assets.Partner with internal stakeholders to translate marketing strategies into compelling visual storytelling.Manage and maintain a social media content calendar, including scheduling and publishing posts.Monitor social media performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement and analytics insights.Support trade shows and events by designing and producing signage, booth graphics, and promotional materials.Coordinate with the marketing team and event manager to ensure cohesive visual presence at conferences and events.Stay current on design trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms to keep content fresh and competitive.Track competitor activity and industry trends to inform creative direction and content strategy.Maintain organized files and asset libraries for efficient reuse and collaboration.Perform additional marketing and creative duties as assigned to support team priorities and evolving business needs.Qualifications / CharacteristicsIntermediate understanding of design and print collateral.Proficient in using various technologies (computers, tablets, cell phones, social media apps) with ability to learn new software quickly.Applied knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software; familiarity with PC and Macintosh, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.Identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.Assist with budget preparation and adhere to annual budget.Strong communication skills, written and verbal.Positive, can-do attitude.Available to work out of our Dubuque, Iowa home office – this is not a remote position.BenefitsJob Stability.Career Growth.Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance with company paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability.Generous company match on 401(k) plan, as well as profit sharing.15 days PTO at hire, plus paid holidays.Scholarship and tuition reimbursement.An Equal Opportunity EmployerJ-18808-Ljbffr
