Administrative Assistant

About us As one of the largest distributors of loading dock equipment and overhead doors in California and Nevada since 1976, we service and install what we sell. We are currently looking for an individual to perform a variety of administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly and assist with the front office operations outlined below. Qualifications: Professional and presentable appearance Excellence in Customer Service and Teamwork Experience in: Accounts Receivable/Billing Accounts Payable/Purchasing Dispatch/Scheduling Must pass a drug test and background check Primary Job Duties: Answer phones and transfer calls Manage/monitor shared office admin emails Order supplies and uniforms Filing Assist with: Accounts Payable: create purchase orders, order parts, and prepare invoices for payment processing Account Receivable: prepare service work orders for billing and process credit card payments Scheduling: dispatch technicians and verify completed work orders Facilitate office and technician support Skills: Excellent communications and assertive listening skills Strong attention to detail Perform value-added tasks Teachable and willingness to assist others Energetic and flexible Works well in a fast-paced, pressure-oriented environment Follows direction with focused attention Exhibits sound judgment Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
