Influencer Manager, Freelance

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency, is looking for a skilled Influencer Manager to join our Genesis team on a freelance basis through the end of 2026! This role is built for a connector, dealmaker, and relationship driven talent leader who knows how to turn partnerships into impact. From day one, you'll own talent strategy, deals, and creator relationships-collaborating across the agency to develop bold, culturally relevant campaigns that move client brands forward. This role is for someone equally passionate about people, storytelling, and execution.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESInfluencer Strategy & Planning• Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies aligned with Genesis brand pillars, launches, and cultural moments• Identify and vet creators across tiers (macro, micro, emerging) with an emphasis on cultural relevance, diversity, and brand alignment• Build and maintain a robust influencer ecosystem spanning lifestyle, luxury, automotive, tech, and designCampaign Management• Own end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns-from briefing and contracting to content delivery and reporting• Lead always-on and tentpole campaigns (vehicle launches, partnerships, experiential moments)• Collaborate with creative, social, and media teams to ensure integrated campaign deliveryContent & Creative Oversight• Partner with creators to develop authentic, high-performing content that balances brand storytelling with platform-native execution• Provide clear creative direction while allowing for creator-led storytelling• Ensure all content aligns with Genesis brand standards and luxury positioningPerformance & Analytics• Track, analyze, and optimize influencer performance using key KPIs (engagement, reach, CPM, conversions, brand lift)• Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns• Partner with paid media teams on boosting, whitelisting, and "spark" strategies to maximize content performancePartnerships & Relationship Management• Build strong relationships with creators, talent managers, and influencer agencies• Negotiate contracts, deliverables, and usage rights• Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging creator opportunitiesREQUIREMENTS• 3-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, or creator partnerships (brand or agency)• Proven track record managing successful influencer campaigns end-to-end• Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and creator economy trends• Experience working with paid media amplification (boosting, whitelisting, dark posting)• Excellent project management and communication skills• Ability to balance creative storytelling with performance-driven outcomes• Experience in automotive, luxury, or lifestyle brands is a strong plusKey Competencies• Cultural fluency and trend awareness• Strategic thinking with a test-and-learn mindset• Strong creative judgment and storytelling instincts• Analytical rigor and comfort with performance metrics• Relationship-building and negotiation skillsBENEFITS• Access to our health benefits• 6 paid sick days annually• 401k match• On-site Barista• Beautiful campus across from the Pacific OceanSalary range: $110,000 to $117,000Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: years of experience, client, training, and transferable skills.
