CDL-A OTR Reefer Driver – Heart of a Lion TruckingOverviewHeart of a Lion Trucking is actively seeking an experienced CDL-A driver with a strong background in refrigerated (reefer) freight for over-the-road (OTR) routes. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of temperature-sensitive loads across the country. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and understand the demands of reefer operations, we want you on our team.Compensation* Earn 20% of gross load revenue* Consistent OTR freight with strong earning potential* Opportunity for increased earnings based on performance and reliabilityResponsibilities* Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated freight on OTR routes* Monitor and manage reefer unit temperatures to protect load integrity* Perform pre-trip, in-transit, and post-trip inspections, including reefer unit checks* Plan routes efficiently while complying with FMCSA hours-of-service regulations* Maintain accurate ELD logs, temperature records, and delivery paperwork* Communicate with dispatch regarding load updates, delays, or issues* Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries with a high level of professionalism* Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standardsQualifications* Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record* Minimum 1–2 years of reefer trailer experience required* Strong knowledge of temperature-controlled freight and reefer operations* OTR driving experience preferred* Ability to manage compliance, logs, and documentation accurately* Reliable, professional, and strong communication skills* Ability to inspect equipment and handle minor troubleshooting if neededWhy Join Heart of a Lion Trucking?At Heart of a Lion Trucking, we value drivers who take pride in their work.
