QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferredProven ability to influence othersExperience in demand planning and statistical forecasting techniquesExperience implementing processes and systems to improve organizational efficiencyStrong analytical aptitude with ability to analyze/interpret data and build quantitative models of business problemsExcellent oral and written communication, organizational and time-management skills, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levelsFlexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple prioritiesCreative thinking with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problemsBenefitsApproximate pay range: $90,000 to $100,000 (may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location)Performance-based incentives and competitive total rewards package, including 401k match, healthcare coverage, and other benefitsIncentives and benefits may vary depending on positionResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy and reliability of the Demand Plan for the business unitImplement performance standards and operating procedures affecting the demand planning function; maintain demand forecasts and related tools/reportsServe as Champion of the Sales and Operations Planning process, assessing Forecast Enrichment and Dynamic Forecast Alignment meetings, facilitating interaction between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and OperationsCreate and maintain accurate Master Data in planning systems, reflecting product lifecycle and minimizing errorsGenerate and maintain the Demand Plan at decision-making levels, considering recent eventsTrack key Demand Planning performance metrics and targetsImprove Demand Plan Accuracy and reduce forecast bias via root cause analysis and learning logsLeverage all planning system functionalities for exception-based managementImplement process and tool improvements to deliver efficiencies and time savingsUse statistical models to generate accurate base demand forecasts, collaborating with analysts to refine modelsParticipate in cross-functional planning activities and ensure preparation and follow-up for Monthly Business Planning meetingsRecommend baseline forecasts and defend changes to the Consensus Demand PlanCapture, prioritize, and analyze forecast assumptions (e.g., marketing events, product launches, customer/competitor info)Analyze actual sales vs forecasts to identify deviations and take corrective actionsPresent outcomes to leadership and obtain stakeholder buy-inEnsure the latest Demand Plan is available to internal business partnersConduct meetings with Sales to review performance, upcoming contracts, and projectionsValidate monthly projections with Sales and Business OperationsParticipate in functional meetings to share experiences and best practicesTrain and cascade knowledge of demand planning best practices to other planners and cross-functional teams.ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
