We offer competitive salaries and benefits with outstanding growth potential.This position will administer the support services for a project or program and maintain project information for project managers and directors. Provide Configuration Management (CM) support to the SCMS CM team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems.Primary Duties:Monitor change processes to ensure updates to Technical Data Packages are implemented in a timely manner.Implement CM processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standards.Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) on systems prior to establishing a product baseline, maintain drawings and Configuration Item data in the CM database tool, and update drawing package changes, as required.Support Configuration Control Boards (CCB) by compiling CCB change request data prior to the CCB, facilitating the CCB agenda during the meeting, and generating meeting minutes for CCB's.Ensure proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems and prepare CSA reports, as required, track Technical Directive (TD) implementation for approved changes, and support the establishment and maintenance of production baselines.Skills and Qualifications:Basic knowledge of configuration management practicesAbility display expertise in learning configuration management to promote the advancement of the programs supportedExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and Power PointKnowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex C4I systemsStrong customer relations, analytics, documentation skillsSelf-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to qualityMicrosoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAbility to work independentlyAbility to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlinesDetail orientedExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issuesAbility to adapt to evolving technologyEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degreeIn lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree plus four (4) years of experience may be substitutedOne (1) to three (3) years of experience with supporting DoD programsClearance:This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.Compensation:While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000.
