PRN Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (XR2) -- On CallOn‑Call / PRNLocation: Morristown, NJAbout The RoleOmnicell is seeking a PRN Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (On Call) to support our XR2 automation system at a customer hospital site in Morristown, NJ. This on‑call role provides coverage for call‑ins, PTO, LOAs, and peak operational needs while supporting safe, efficient medication automation that enables pharmacy teams to focus on patient care.This is an excellent opportunity to earn flexible income, strengthen advanced pharmacy automation skills, and gain exposure that may lead to future full‑time or expanded roles within Omnicell.What You’ll DoOperate and support Omnicell XR2 automation in accordance with SOPs and best practicesManage medication inventory, restocking, returns, and formulary accuracyPerform routine equipment inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshootingMonitor system performance and escalate unresolved issues to TAC or the appropriate helpdeskMaintain accurate documentation and compliance with Pharmacy Services policiesCommunicate proactively with pharmacy leadership and customers to resolve issuesServe as a subject matter resource for Omnicell team members as neededParticipate in training and maintain all required certifications and credentialsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDActive State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/RegistrationActive National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB / CPhT / EXCPT)Working knowledge of pharmacy automation Preferred QualificationsCompletion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program2+ years of hospital pharmacy automation experienceExperience supporting automation troubleshooting and IV workflowsSkills & AttributesStrong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work independently in a fast‑paced environmentComfort working with mechanical equipment and computer systemsProficiency with Windows, Excel, and PowerPointDetail‑oriented with strong organizational skillsSchedule & Work ConditionsPRN / On‑Call (as needed) to support Call Ins/Sick Calls, Vacation, LOAs, etc. Shift: M-F, Day Shift (may subject to change)This PRN will support the following sites:100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ 079601200 S Cedar Crest Blvd, Allentown, PA 181032545 Schoenersville Rd, Bethlehem, PA 180175501 Old York Road, Philadelphia, PA, 19141This role will be good match if you are currently on a 7 on / 7 off work schedule, looking for PRN or part-time work only, etc.8–10 hour shifts; hours may extend beyond normal business needsAbility to travel for trainingPharmacy environment with potential exposure to hazardous drugsMust be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbsWhy PRN with OmnicellThis role is a great way to get your foot in the door with Omnicell.Potential opportunity to convert to full‑time or explore roles across Pharmacy Services, Professional Services, Consulting, Marketing, or ManagementHands‑on training with state‑of‑the‑art pharmacy automation technologyKeep your pharmacy technician and pharmacy technology skills sharp and currentJC1Morristown, NJ
